Practice and teaching by the Nichiren Shu denomination of Buddhism, based on chanting Odaimoku, expressed in the words "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo“ which, translated from Sanskrit into English, means “Devotion to the Wonderful Truth of the Lotus Flower Teaching.” Services held weekdays 7 AM and Sundays at 10 AM The only buddhist temple with its own lotus flower pond to hold a festive and meaningful participatory annual summer floating lantern ceremony for the recently departed.
