This is a beautiful pottery studio offering classes for up to 6 people (12 years old and up.) Come learn how to make a mug or bowl on the potter’s wheel. It’s lots of fun...a great way to spend quality time with friends and family or develop your throwing skills. See our website for Kett Pottery or via "Make your own mug or Bowl on Maui", an experience offered through Airbnb. First time throwing classes are between 2-2.5 hours and cost $165 with special discounts for long time residents. Fees for firing are assessed by quantity and volume of the pieces ranging between $5-12 per item made. We also can ship your work using flat rate boxes from USPS ($32 avg) Students wanting to learn more can join one of the ongoing 6 wk classes.

You will hear fascinating stories of the restaurants and the entrepreneurs that started them, and get great ideas on where to eat out during your time in Kona. You will also be entertained with fun historical facts about Kona and stories of the Kings and Queens that once ruled our island. The tour operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and is available for private groups as well.
