Route 99 Hawai was born on the North Shore of O’ahu where Kamehameha Highway becomes Route 99. The brand, Route 99, started with only two designs at a booth at the Hale’iwa Farmers Market. Aloha, my name is Isaiah Moniz! Born and raised surfing in Waikiki, I fell in love with the ocean at a young age. Waikiki Beach is where I was taught to always have fun, but also where I learned to love and respect the ocean along with everyone I encounter. Surfing has taken me all over the world, but I always find myself returning back to where my surfing started, Waikiki Beach. As a second generation Waikiki Beach Boy, I now have the privilege to share my love of the ocean to people from all over the globe.
