The Kona Coast’s vibrant pelagic zone and nearshore humpback habitat create the unique landscape for an extraordinary phenomenon: Whales year-round! From April to November, embark on our 3-4 hour pelagic whale watch tours, searching for over a dozen resident whale and dolphin species. During the winter from December through March, we shift focus inshore on our 2.5-3 hour humpback whale watches. This time of year brings thousands of humpbacks who have traveled to the Hawaiian Islands to breed and give birth.
