Named after our skilled Japanese Ramen head chef who has traveled all over Japan to found the most delicious ramen recipes and inspired the restaurant’s creation, Tanaka Ramen seeks to serve delicious traditional flavors in a chic modern environment in Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, and Hawaii. Our goal is to let our customer have the most authentic delicious Japanese Ramen without going to Japan.

Known for its trademarked “Oishi Ramen,” KAMUKURA Ramen offers bowls of clear-broth vegetable-based soup inspired by French consommé and paired with medium-thin Japanese noodles. The noodles are made fresh and imported from Japan to ensure that the standards are consistent at all KAMUKURA destinations. The soup—delicate yet savory—derives its slightly sweet flavors from Hokusai Napa cabbage, which you can see getting cooked down per order in the open kitchen. The Ala Moana shop offers counter seating along with takeout for a fast and convenient option to satisfy noodle cravings. Founded in 1986, KAMUKURA Ramen began in the entertainment district of Osaka, Japan. The Lanai Food Court in Ala Moana Center is the brand's first in the US.

Our specialty is Rice Noodle which serve with different types of broths and your choice of protein such as Beef Brisket, fatty beef, fish fillet and pork loin. We currently serving authentic Hong Kong style Dim Sum to offer variety food selection. We also offer different types of desserts and bubble drinks such as Japanese Souffle pancake, Bubble Waffles, and the Castella cake with ice cream, brown sugar milk tea with tapioca, Matcha milk tea with red bean and etc.
