The noodles are made fresh and imported from Japan to ensure that the standards are consistent at all KAMUKURA destinations. The soup—delicate yet savory—derives its slightly sweet flavors from Hokusai Napa cabbage, which you can see getting cooked down per order in the open kitchen. The Ala Moana shop offers counter seating along with takeout for a fast and convenient option to satisfy noodle cravings. Founded in 1986, KAMUKURA Ramen began in the entertainment district of Osaka, Japan. The Lanai Food Court in Ala Moana Center is the brand's first in the US.
